Playlister Help
The Interface
When you first walk up to a Playlister display, you will likely be on a blank screen. Press the back button on the remote to first wake up the remote. Wait a few seconds for the remote connected message to appear on the screen. Once connected, press the back button twice to get to the home screen.
Once on the home screen, you can scroll through the Playlists on the right to find the playlist you need. Press the middle button on the remote to select the playlist. You can now scroll through the items in the playlist. Press the middle button once you have selected the video/image you want to display.
When a media item is displayed, you can press the right button to advance or the left button to go back. If a video is playing you can press the play/pause button or the middle button to pause the video. From there, you can swipe left or right on the middle button to scrub through the video. Then press the play/pause or the middle button again to start the video from that point.
Troubleshooting
If you have trouble getting anything to show up on the TV, first try pressing the back button on the Apple TV remote.
If this does not solve the issue, try restarting the Apple TV by pressing and holding the power button on the remote for at least 6 seconds.
If you still do not have a signal, look at the back of the TV and make sure the HDMI cable is plugged in.
Finally, check the TV source. Use the buttons on the TV to make sure the TV is set to HDMI 1.
